FAQ
When
does this comic update?
I shoot for a MWF schedule. Doesn't always happen,
but that's what I try to plan for.
What
do you use to make the comic?
At the moment,
I've been using printer paper, pencil, and a dip pen for inking.
I use any old black pen I have lying around to fill in the larger
black areas. On the digital end of things, I use a combination
of Adobe Photoshop 7 and Deleter Comicworks. Photoshop for scanning,
editing, and lettering, and Comicworks for panels, tones, and
other related effects. But not necessarily in that order.
I made the site on Dreamweaver. It is hosted on Comicgenesis.
Obviously.
Can
I critique your comic?
If
it's a particular panel that's a little off, don't worry about
it, unless it's pretty freaking bad. If I'm doing something consistently
poorly, though, feel free to point it out (and suggesting some
way to fix it would be nice).
Is
Prophecy Failed an allegory for something?
While
there are some superficial similarities between the setting of
PF and some places in the real world, Aelmidde is Aelmidde, and
not some real place in disguise. The events happen for the sake
of the plot, not so I can make a point. I like to think you can
take away a few messages about life/people/whatever in general,
but I don't have an actual agenda behind the events besides plot
and character development.
Really?
Because what happened on page such-and-such is just like--
No.
Stop that.
Is
any character based on a real person?
No one important. There's a cameo or two, but no
one with a speaking part.
I
ship characters A and B!
Haha, you can ship whoever the heck you want. I
don't plan on having any canon pairings at the moment (sorry,
guys, not that kind of comic), but there should be plenty of room
for fanon.
I hate Character
C!
I personally think one should never feel obligated
to like a particular character, though I can't think of a single
PF character I personally dislike.
